1．基本信息
廖允成，男，1969年12月生，安徽六安人，教授，博士生导师。1992年本科毕业于安徽农学院，1995年硕士研究生毕业于西北农业大学，获农学硕士学位，同年留校任教迄今。1998年博士研究生毕业于西北农业大学，获农学博士学位。2004年1月至7月在新西兰林肯大学做访问学者。
曾任国家自然科学基金委员会第十三、十四届生命科学部专家评审组成员，中国农学会立体农业分会常务理事，农业部教材办公室教材建设专家委员会委员，第九届学位评定委员会第一分委会主席。2007年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，2008年被授予第十九届“陕西省十大杰出青年提名奖”和“陕西省青年突击手标兵”称号，2011年12月被中华人民共和国国务院授予“全国粮食生产突出贡献农业科技人员”称号，2012年荣获宝钢优秀教师奖，2014年获国务院政府特殊津贴、陕西省教学名师称号、陕西省中青年科技创新领军人才称号。
现任中国农学会耕作制度分会副理事长、陕西省农作物学会理事长、中国农学会高新技术农业应用专业委员会常务理事、《西北农业学报》主编。

3．开设课程
承担本科生《农业生态学》、《耕作学》、《农业概论》等课程教学，为博、硕士研究生讲授《作物学进展》、《高级耕作学》、《高级生态学》等课程。
4．科研项目与学术成果
先后参加国家“八五”、“九五”旱地农业科技攻关、农业部跨越计划等课题研究工作；主持完成了6项国家自然科学基金项目和6项省部级课题研究工作。目前主持1项国家自然科学基金项目和3项部级课题。主要参与的“半干旱区集水农业理论与技术”获2012年教育部科技进步二等奖，主要参与的“黄土高原丘陵沟壑区保护性耕作技术集成研究与示范”获2011年甘肃省科技进步二等奖。
近年来，在《Soil & Tillage Research》、《Science of the Total Environment》、《Field Crops Research》、《Scientific Reports》、《Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews》、《作物学报》、《中国农业科学》、《农业工程学报》、《生态学报》等刊物上发表论文90余篇；主编出版著作（教材）5部，参编著作（教材）10余部。
