2020 Yangling International Agricultural Science and Technology Forum" Crop Green Production Sub-Forum Held 

From October 23rd to 26th, the "Crop Green Production" sub-forum of the Yangling International Agricultural Science and Technology Forum was held in Room 104 of the Exchange Center, hosted by the College of Agronomy , with more than 200 domestic and foreign experts, scholars, and student representatives attending. The forum was chaired by Professor Shan Weixing, the dean of the College of Agronomy .

The forum focused on the theme of crop green production, and featured presentations by elite experts from around the world, including Professor Murray Grant and Associate Professor Miriam Gifford from the University of Warwick in the UK, Professor Gary John Loake from the University of Edinburgh in the UK, Professor Patrick Schäfer from Ulm University in Germany, Professor Jan Jansson from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Karl-Heinz Kogel from Justus Liebig University Giessen in Germany, Professor Corné Pieterse from Utrecht University in the Netherlands, Professor Tang Dingzhong from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Professor Yao Nan from Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Han Xiaowei from Huazhong Agricultural University, Researcher Liu Jun from the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Associate Professor Wang Youning from Huazhong Agricultural University, and our university's experts including Professor Sun Liying, Professor Hu Xiaoping, Professor Jiang Cong, and Professor Huang Zhen, who presented on various topics including plant stress resistance mechanisms, plant-microbe interactions, innovation in crop germplasm resources, and molecular breeding of crops.

The forum promoted academic exchanges and friendships in the academic community, providing a platform for sharing practical experiences from around the world. Teachers and students present engaged enthusiastically with the presenters, engaging in in-depth discussions on the content and issues of interest in the reports, and expressed that they had gained a lot from the forum.
